The sitting-room is heavily beamed with an inglenook fireplace and open fire. By winter the fire offers a welcoming place to relax after exploring the local area, yet by summer it offers a cool haven from the warmth outside.

The galley kitchen has everything you could ask for should you wish to dine or entertain in the cottage, including washing machine and dishwasher.

The dining room has patio doors to the sun garden along with a skylight so there is plenty of natural light during the day.

The cottage has a lawned garden opposite, with a summer-house and terrace looking towards the river. The summer house is well equipped for afternoon tea or barbeques in the long summer evenings. For those cooler days, there is a heater in the summer house so you can still enjoy the tranquility, fresh air and views.

Up twisting stairs are two luxurious bedrooms, both with four-poster beds and decorated all in white. One has its own toilet and shower, and the other is next door to the dressing room and bathroom with corner bath and shower. Crisp white bed linen and sumptuous cotton towels are in ready supply for your stay, along with complimentary toiletries.

The cottage has a small, but well stocked honour bar leading off from the hallway, with a range of spirits and mixers along with red and white wine.

A basket of logs are by the fireplace, along with a scuttle of coal. Further supplies are readily available in the local area.

Electricity is inclusive along with heating as required.

Private parking for 1 car and on road parking for a second car.

A welcome pack including afternoon tea and a breakfast starter pack is provided on arrival.
